Invitation to Wine Festival

We are honored to invite you to take part in the III International Wine Festival "VINOFEST-2004" which will take place in November 19-21, 2004 in Kiev, Ukraine.

The organizers of the Festival are: the All-Ukrainian Association of Wine-growers and Sommeliers (Wine Specialists) and "Master-Class" Company (which opened the first in Ukraine Sommelier School in November, 2001). In November, 2002 the 1-st International Festival "VINOFEST-2002" was hold, which involved the feast of new wine, the 1-st All-Ukrainian Contest of Sommeliers, contests of barmen, merchandisers, enogastronomy. In November, 2003 among the participants of the 2-nd International Festival "VINOFEST-2003" there were well-known Ukrainian, Georgian, Moldavian, Italian, Republic of South Africa wine trade- marks.

We would be very interested in participation of your company in this Festival and in your country being represented there as a famous wine-growing world region, a wine-producer and a wine-trader.

"VINOFEST-2003" has a great success. It was visited by more than 3.500 people - specialists in wine-growing, hotel and restaurant business, trade, as well as representatives of mass-media and so on. The event was widely reported in press and on TV.

We are sure, that presentation of your country and your company on Ukrainian market would be mutually beneficial and commercially successful.

This year in "VINOFEST-2004" many foreign wine companies from France, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Republic of South Africa, Argentina, Moldova, Georgia will take part.

To become a practical instrument and a source of objective professional information for trade companies, suppliers, wine making factories and wine growing and making state farms, representatives of professional organizations, travel firms, hotels and restaurants.

5. THE FESTIVAL'S PROGRAM:

SEGMENTS OF THE FESTIVAL:

The area of conducting the festival is divided into segments, which have their individual names and present the given themes.

"WINE GLADE"

On the territory of the "Wine Glade" the following exposition stands are presented:
· Those of participants of the Feast of New Wine (a stage-adapted action of wine-tasting from barrels);
· Those of best trade marks offering the market of Ukraine the best samples of wine and cognac products;
· Those of leading companies-producers of cheese and sea products;
· Those of elite restaurants and clubs, arranged in the form of wine-tasting zones.

During three days of the Festival in the abovementioned segment there will be held the following contests and events:

· An International Professional Contest - Wine Tasting called "Wine Star-2004";
· The First International Innovation Contest - Wine Tasting "The Author's Wine-2004";
· The Fest of New Wine.
· The 3rd All-Ukrainian Contest of Sommeliers;
· The Contest "Best Wine List of a Restaurant";
· The Contest "Ukrainian Cheese - to Ukrainian Wine";
· V.I.P-tasting "Comme il faut" from the School of Sommeliers (tasting of elite cognacs, cigars, coffee) with conducting the 1st Championship of Ukraine on Cigar Smoking;
· V.I.P.-tasting of collection wines of Ukraine and other wine making regions of the world;
· The Contest "Best Presentation of a Company";
· A stage-adapted Show "Wine Epochs".

"COCKTAIL GLADE"

On the territory of the "Cocktail Glade" the following exposition stands will be presented:

· Those of leading trade marks producing liqueur-vodka products and low-alcohol (cocktail) drinks;
· Those of night clubs, arranged in the form of tasting zones.

During three days of the Festival in the abovementioned segment there will be carried out the following events:

· The First All-Ukrainian Contest "Bar-Lady-2004";
· The First All-Ukrainian Contest "Baristo-2004" (a contest among coffee experts);
· A stylized "Barman - Show";
· A stage-adapted "Cocktail - Show".

"TRAVEL GLADE"

On the territory of the "Travel Glade" the following expositions will be presented:

· Those of travel firms;
· Those of restaurants and clubs with national cuisines of the world.

During three days of the Festival in the given segment there will be carried out the following events:

· A stage-adapted Show "Around Countries and Continents";
· A presentation of the Program "Wine Tours-2004".

In addition, the Festival "Vinofest-2004" proposes a special educational "Communication Program" including:
- conducting "round tables";
- thematic conferences and seminars with participation of wine-makers and sommeliers;
- open tasting of world wines, as well as new wine-tasting;
- comparative "blind' wine-tasting;
- master-classes;
- a fair of vacancies.

"Vinofest-2002" was attended by 2,500 persons.
"Vinofest-2003" was attended by 3,500 persons.
"Vinofest-2004" is expected to be attended by 5,000 persons.
