All-Ukrainian Association of Wine-growers and Sommeliers and The 1stin Ukraine Sommelier School of the company “Master-class” started the program “Press-club “Sommelier for myself” first time in Ukraine.
The main purpose of such knowledgefull and theoretical lessons in the hall of Sommelier School is acquaintance Mass-media representatives with wine-making process and its product – wine (either Ukrainian and other countries, rising the popularity of Ukrainian wine and culture of taking this drink in general.
Nowadays this theme is very actual for Mass-media, that is why, we think that, bringing to the reader (watcher, listener) the professional information about drinks is very necessarily.
Training-meetings are planned to hold on once a week during a year, under the made plan.
Every meeting will last 3 hours and will consist of :
- acquaintance with Trade mark, which is presented on this meeting (speech of the representative of Trade mark, the show of video and photos, the place of Trade mark on the alcohol market);
- theoretical part (acquaintance with group of drinks, sorts of grape or wine-making countries and soon) is held by our specialist – sommelier;
- “blind” degustations of wines are held by our specialist – sommelier.

There will be present the representatives from more the 20 Mass-media on the meeting, the sommelier from the leading restaurants, representative of companies-distributors.
The meeting of Press-club takes part every month, starting from 16.10.05.
